Being a gift made by her beloved husband from one of their beautiful travels, my customer wished to have the large and heavy silver ring repaired since the amber piece, initially held in place by a narrow soldered link, was detached from the body of the ring.
I made a new bezel around the amber and added a back plate so that the stone would better reflect the light and remain clean over the years, reshaped the inner curve to better lodge the new bezel into the new "nest". A good final polish and the customer retrieved her ring as it was new.
The customer had this beautiful shiny and colourful opal in his possession and has asked to set it as a pendant as light as possible.
He chose for a claw setting without a back plate to ensure the light could shine everywhere through the stone.

The customer asked me to set one of my most beautiful opals for his lovely wife's birthday celebration. Though the opal is quite big, he thought of a larger pendant for a chocker, completely in his wife's style.
So I added to the bezel a larger hammered crown to catch even more light, together with a simple but nice link chain.
My client was looking for a small necklace she could wear everyday, something different and she chose for this
